Hallie M. Bowie
Architect / LEED Green Associate
Hallie has been designing homes since 1987, with projects ranging from additions and renovations to whole house design. Hallie is a registered architect in the state of Ohio, License #9767. That means that her college education included extensive training in design, construction systems and materials, structural design, and building codes; followed by three years of internship in architectural offices; and passing a rigorous two-day license exam in 1991.
To maintain her license, Hallie completes a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education courses per year in subjects like Universal Design, Aging in Place, and Sustainability. She is a Certified Green Professional through the National Association of Home Builders, as well as a LEED Green Associate. She brings all of this knowledge to the design of your home.
Hallie began working from home just before the birth of her two children in 1994, so the relationship between family life and home design has been very clear for her! Having a place for backpacks, visual connection between the Kitchen and living areas, sufficient closet space, and other home design issues are always just a few steps away. When Hallie isn’t designing homes, she enjoys singing folk and pop songs with her husband Scott, and spending time outdoors hiking, running, and gardening.
